My belated congratulations to our new Minister.

I would like to state here and now that, unlike women, I am not afraid of numbers or getting older. I think I've come pretty far in 27 years, and to deny my age would be to deny all that experience. Honestly, ladies, there's nothing wrong with getting older. You know it's going to happen whether you want it to or not, so you might as well admit it.

Never underestimate the strength of a pack of young boys. Dueling one grown man with more experience than I possess is nothing compared to being surrounded by five boys between the ages of nearly two and nine. I think my sister is training her brood to attack me. Just because I had sweets and I wouldn't hand them over without a fight.

And don't kid yourselves. The nearly two-year-old monsters are the fiercest of the lot. Somehow I got roped into watching them this weekend.
